Query List

How do I make a query list of gift batches (BBMS) I have approved. I have renamed the batches by date and adding RE and adding a variable if there are numerous batches within the same day. Ex: 122022RE A.

I want to be able to see the fund, appeal, campaign, and the codes for each.

Hello @Vanessa Rodriguez! This sounds much like the reports I run (monthly, 6 months, annually, and for December postmarked gifts)…are you wanting to run this primarily to see which batches have been acknowledged or primarily for the fund, appeal, campaign, etc. information?

If it is the latter, go to Reports, Financial Reports, Gift Detail and Summary Report. There are template reports you can build off of for this information, including date ranges.

If I am misunderstanding, please elaborate.

I have approved batches through BBMS, I want to know what Campaign, Fund and Appeal theses each gift went towards without having to look up every single gift individually.

I am really new to RE and I understand there is a way to create this list in query in databaseview.

@Vanessa Rodriguez Several options in database view:

• Under batch module, find folder called Web View Batches. Here open you batch, view on screen or ‘File’ > Print > Validation Report (export option too.)
• Using batch number, create a gift or constituent query of gifts in that batch. Output the info you want to see.
