@Vanessa Rodriguez If the gift has been posted, you won't be able to change the appeal even with an adjustment. You would either have to run the unpost plug-in for that gift, or delete and re-enter. If your financial system is directly connected, you may want to connect with your finance department to see how that will affect them.

@Vanessa Rodriguez USE EXTREME CAUTION if using unpost plug. Not something I would do without a lot of experience. Very to easy to unpost every gift.

I don't want to disagree with @Dariel Dixon LOL but I have changed appeal on a posted gift. If you go to the split gift tab I have changed the appeal. I usually note on the first tab of the adjustment that it was an appeal change as there is no change to amount or fund and finance may wonder why there is an adjustment. Check with your finance office on their procedure for posting adjustments - gift date or date you make the change.

@JoAnn Strommen You know, you are absolutely right. I forget about the split gift tab in the adjustments. We don't use split gifts, so I never even think about it…

But yes, use caution when using the unpost plugin.
