Divorce and households
We just had our first case of a divorce since implementing/utilizing the household feature in Core. I broke up the household, removed the spouse relationship, and made a new household with the parent and children. This generated a new household ID.
I think I should not have removed the household, and just removed the spousal relationship and kept the address with the appropriate family members, which would have retained the household ID. Does anyone have best practices around this that they would be willing to share?
