Adjusting Work Center's Underlying Lists / Metrics

Hello everyone,

My appologies if I use the wrong terminology…. in the Work Center in NXT, I want to (as an example) change the data sources of the dashboard visuals – especially the Actions panel. when I drill into any of the three metrics, I do see the underlying List “Query” but it always defaults to “this week.” I can manually change it to “this year” and get my stats, but for us, it is NOT helpful for gift officers to only see current week and then the stats wipe. I cannot get these underlying lists to accept my last values. My RE team here tells me it is not possible to override these filters for the metrics are hard-coded Blackbaud defaults. This would be SUPER dissapointing if true. I am newer to NXT so thank you for your thoughts. Marc

@Marc Goldstick If I'm understanding your question correctly, I think you are trying to change the default time frame for the work center stats. I don't know if you can, as I think your team is correct that they are hard coded defaults. I also believe those can be user defined options, but even then I don't believe you can set the defaults for others with regards to those values.

The fundraisers should be able to change those values themselves though.
