Actions and Gifts - Cause and Effect

Hey everyone, I'm trying to explore with my team to see if we can design a report to gauge the effectiveness of actions taken to donor giving. Has anyone crafted or explored this? I want to answer the following questions:

• Was there a recorded action ≤ 180 before the last gift date?

If yes,

• What type of action
• Who recorded the action
• How much was the last gift

I am guessing this is more of a manual manipulation outside of RE, but I wanted to ask this community for any tips or thoughts.

@Shawn Cote Since you cannot link a gift to an action like you can with proposals/opportuntities, I am not sure how you can report off of this. Also the fact that an action may not have anything to do with the gift or there could be many actions for that gift. You may want to think of using the proposal/opportunity if you have the prospect module.
