Adding a Constituent Code

How do I go about adding a constituent code to my system?

Hi Melissa,

You can do this in the Database View. Go to Configuration > Tables > Constituent Codes.

I think in general Blackbaud says that Constituent Codes should explain why the constituent is in the system. Go forth and add away.

@Melissa Duffy, one thing to mention is that you do need to have permissions to make changes to configuration, so depending on your role in your organization, you might not find that as an available option.
