Hi all. We are looking to revamp our school's website and I wonder if anyone would be willing to share links to your websites that were built using Blackbaud. We currently get into ours for edits, redesign, etc. through ONCampus. Would love to see what others have done. Ours is very outdated and boxy. Hoping for some creative inspiration. Thanks

On this topic, does anyone know of an existing Blackbaud Website ‘support group’? We've had a BB site for a while, but my job responsibilities spread me so thin, it's hard to find the time to learn much beyond the basics. I see things on other BB sites that I would love to implement on ours, and sometimes I get a request for something more complicated - the kinds of things that this kind of group, as experienced product users, could answer more quickly than BB support.

School Website is clearly at the bottom of Blackbaud's list. They bought Whipple Hill, put lipstick on the pig and shipped it to Siberia.

• Where are the meaningful updates?!!
• Why does the back end look c2010?
• Could Resource Board posts be any worse?
• Why do we have to do acrobatics to make things look decent?
• Do they realize how crazy-difficult it is to train faculty and staff who aren't CMS minded?
• Why give admissions event registration an overhaul and not School Website registration?

OK. Rant over. Are you listening BB?

Back to the support group: Where in the digiverse can we do dynamic conversation and collaboration? What do you think it looks like?

We went the completely custom option. We are up for a re-design and I'm not sure where our team is going to land with that.

This module does need an overhaul though!

@Marie Campione and @Binnie Pappas - Did you all ever discover if a BB website support group exists somewhere? I have searched BB websites for some type of help, and that confused me even more. I have no idea if we have Professional, Professional Plus, or Professional Premium from the Design Portfolio page or Starter, Essentials, or Professional from the Website Packages page. I see secondary schools in both, so what is the difference?

Is there any documentation for updates to the website builder? Have there been any updates to the website builder? Can what we have support what I am seeing on other BB sites? The fact I am not a webmaster is not helping this scenario.

Thanks for any guidance you may be able to offer.

@Scott Chrysler - Great questions! I got busy and tabled my search for BB website support groups, but I'm still very interested if one is located or started up! Re: your current website: you should be able to contact your BB rep (Customer Success Manager) to find out what website package you currently have. Someone at your school should also have a “Website Specifications” document with some details and guidelines regarding your site. The Customer Success Manager can also explain in more detail the differences between Professional, Professional Plus and Professional Premium and the website solutions (Starter, Essentials and Professional) (pricing and features). Our original website was Whipplehill, we had redesigns in 2014 and 2019. We are due for another this year ?
