Reporting Based on Gift Attributes

Hello, Community! I am perplexed. We have started an alumnae-targeted challenge with local all-girls schools. I thought I had it figured out to use a special appeal for this, as I have a modified Insight in web view to pull only class years for totals. However, because I'm using an appeal I cannot track the actual mailed appeal unless I split the gifts, which I do not want to do.

If I create a Gift Attribute (we have not really used these), is there any way to still report in web view on these? From what I have seen, I cannot pull attributes/custom fields in web view for reports/dashboards (not Lists). Am I missing something? I would be OK with creating a separate report/dashboard for just this. I MUST be able to report alumnae numbers, though, and do it quickly. I want to still report the real amounts brought in by the mailed appeals, though.

    @Miki Martin You are correct, you cannot pull a report in RE NXT with Gift Attributes. Why not do this in Database View.

    @Joe Moretti unfortunately, I am the only one that really utilizes database view for much of anything. I am trying to get users here to at least take advantage of the various dashboards I have created in web view to find the information they're seeking, and with this alumnae drive being the current pursuit I am wanting something quick for them to see.

    I can create packages for each of the appeals, which I may just end up doing. At least I can report on them.
