CBE and Reportcards

Wondering about how any other schools using the CBE tools are reporting out to parents. We were doing an export of the sub skills and averaging them up to their parent skill using a custom built excel sheet. Those parent skill scores get manually entered into an assessment style report card but that is getting more and more cumbersome as we move through our third year of using the tools. Any discussion will be appreciated - especially if your school is part of the Mastery Transcript Consortium.

I am just adding to this conversation because we are using CBE for our middle school for the first time and it would be great to not have to recreate the wheel and get the standards and report cards to talk to each other.

@Megan Peter I know there are plans in the works to get the assessment skills to match up to the content-area skills so they can pull on to a report card. Happy to talk about some workarounds and plans we're implementing!

@Sarah Stradling Sure! I am out the month of July, but would love to chat in August. We just went through using the new assessment skills for our report cards and after a few rough starts, it worked out pretty well.
