Report Card Set-up/NEW report card builder

This summer I plan to rework our report cards using the “new” report card builder as we are still on the “old” format. We are a 9-12 HS that grades on trimesters. I am hoping that some of you would be willing to share samples of your designs/layouts. Typically we just provide a single term grade for each course with optional teacher comments. Any samples would be greatly appreciated!. Thank you!

    Curious if you got any direct messages on this post, as I'm looking for some new ideas also!

    No, unfortunately I did not receive any samples (and we have not revamped our yet). Good luck!

    @Gina Eddy & @Krista Gunzel -

    I missed the original request from a while ago. Here's a Google Doc with screenshots of our six report cards.

    We have an upper school and middle school. We have three terms. We publish six report cards each year:

    • Fall Progress: includes a letter grade and a long-ish comment for each student in each class. The letter grade is a snapshot of the student's current work. It is not used in future calculations.
    • Fall Term: includes the fall progress grade for reference, an exam grade, and the term grade.
    • Winter Mid-Term: includes the fall term grade for reference, and a snapshot grade for the winter term so far.
    • Winter Term: includes the fall term and winter mid-term grades for reference.
    • Spring Comments: includes the fall term and winter term grades for reference. Each teacher writes a comment for each student - generally shorter than the fall comment.
    • Spring Term and Year: includes Fall Term and Winter Term grades for reference. Includes the spring exam grade, the spring term grade, and the year end grade (an average of the term grades for fall, winter, and spring).

    Fitness credits are required (instead of a PE class). When earned, the credit is reported on subsequent report cards.

    Thank you so much, Brian, this is very helpful! (We are on the same 3 term/6 report card cycle). They look great, thank you for sharing! And @Krista Gunzel, thank you for bumping my comment! :)
