Emergency Evacuation Attendance

How does your school handle attendance for emergency evacuations like fire drills? We currently use the manual attendance sheets that are pre-printed and kept in a binder in the classrooms. Our students line up by homerooms in their assigned spots, but attendance can't be re-taken by the homeroom teacher outside of homeroom block. We are looking to see if there's a way to use attendance feature to do take attendance in these instances instead to make it more efficient.

@Vicky Lopuchowycz - We use Ruvna.com Accountability for this. The rosters sync daily and the attendance from Blackbaud syncs every 30 minutes. Any employee can mark any student or other employee as safe (or in need of assistance). There is an option to allow students to mark themselves safe too.

We also use the Announcements module for sending emergency alerts by phone, email, and text message.
