Refund Automated Recurring Gift

Hi,

Is it possible to refund a portion or all of an Automated Recurring Gift? I thought I read you can refund the gift directly through the Web view which would refund the gift in BBMS as well as reduce the gift on the donor record automatically, but I can't seem to find a refund button and I can't find the information I read before.

@Kerry Kelleher I don't have experience with this, but this knowledgebase article implies that if you change the status to “terminated” it should stop, but doesn't always seem to work.

The refund could potentially be made via the BBMS Portal as well. You may not have access to it, but someone in your office - probably accounting / finance staff - should.

@Kerry Kelleher, yes, full or partial refunds can be made through BBMS. Simply find the gift in your BBMS transaction search and then click the three dots to the left of the gift. It will give you the option to refund. Be sure to then adjust the RE gift after the fact to reflect the corrected gift total.
