mailing labels

I can't find a way to create mailing labels. We don't use Mail Merge, but I have tried following the directions online for this and it is clear as mud. Do you have a simple way for creating your labels from a simple students list?

  • @Candi Roberts We created an Advanced List to create labels. In the report setup, if you go to the Output Options tab, mailing labels are an option.

  • @Candi Roberts I had a really hard time figuring this out also, and only found my way there in the end by following the crumbs left on other help topics. I'm fairly new to K12, so others may have more information or a better way, but as far as I can tell, any basic or advanced list can be used to generate mailing labels, but NOT the Sky lists that you probably use often, so you will have to go to Reporting>Manage Lists>and then select “Manage basic and advanced lists."

    • For basic lists, there is a checkbox for “Enable mail list” under the description when you set up or edit the list.
    • For advanced lists, Kelly already showed you a picture of the output options choices.

    In both cases, you can then create labels using the Mail Labels option next to the list you want to use for your labels.
