First/Primary Language and Language(s) spoken at home - form field??

Hello! I see that there are fields available in the Student Contact Card to be able to list
First/primary language AND Languages spoken at home. We are being asked to collect this information from current students for some required reporting. I have some legacy data that I imported into those fields, but it is nowhere near complete.

First, I was going to create a form asking for this information to be filled out as part of a “back to school” checklist of forms we send out each summer. I don't see the fields ANYWHERE on the form builders to be able to ask them! Has anyone found a way to add these fields to a form past the Application stage? Why have these fields if you can't ask someone to fill them out?

Second, I see the fields available in the Inquiry and Application forms through EMS, but not in any of the form builders for current students. In addition, it looks like the "Languages At Home" field from the Inquiry form doesn't roll over to the Contact Card upon enrollment. It's a separate field. Why is that?
