Matching grandparent to students

Trying to find a way to match all of the folks in our database who have the role of grandparent with the student for which they hold that role. Currently I'm not able to run any report (that I can find) that includes the student - I have to go through each student contact card to see who is listed in their relationships as the grandparent. Has anyone created a list that solves this?

Would this work? It's a Basic list:

Go to

• Core
• Reporting
• Manage lists
• Manage basic and advanced lists
• Add
• Create a basic list
• select Related Constituents
• Next
• Enter name, Category, and Description
• Criteria is “Where ((Relationship Type Equals Grandparent-Grandchild) Or (Relationship Type Equals Great Grandparent - Great Grandchild)) And (User 2 Role Equals Student)”
• Run
• Export
