Guideline to get Parents Connected to BBID

Hi there,

Does any other school have a flyer with steps for new parents/teachers get registered to BBID. Ideally with screenshot images of what the process is. Thought I would reach out before I created one. Thanks!

Our students and employees use Google SSO authentication.

@Lauren Laws Except in rare instances (usually when a parent is having trouble connecting or they need to connect a new email address to a BBID), we do not use the email invitation function. Instead, we send all the connection information as part of the official note that we send when a parent submits a new enrollment inquiry (the first step of our admissions process). Screenshot below:

The “click here” action box just links to the main EMS login page. Since we send different responses to the inquiry based on whether there is space available or not, this allows us to send the availability information and the BBID creation information in the same email.

Our students do not access Academics at all (we use a different LMS) so students do not log in. Faculty uses Google SSO to log in, so we just direct them to go to the EMS login page, enter their email address, then select sign in with Google.
