NXT Report Builder - help

hello all, I wanted to see if this is possible, I have spent an hour attempting to build this dashboard, but I am not able to easily find the information, and if it is not possible I don't want to waste any more time.

What I am attempting to do is create a Report in Report builder that compares this fiscals gifts with last fiscals gifts. I created this as a dashboard in Database View and I wish to display in the Web based view. The current dash board consists of 6 panels, 3 on the left for this FY, 3 on the right for last FY gift lists to compare one year over the other:

• New Gifts and Pledges
• Planned Gifts
• Cash In

Each panel is a list of gifts displayed with Gift Date, Constituent Name, Amount, and Gift Type .

This is a really simple dashboard that is used by my Legacy Team so they can easily find and compare their gifts.

Can I recreate in the Web view?

I don't believe you can do this with Report Builder. It is one of the first things I wanted to do with Report Builder, and talked with Blackbaud 4-5 years ago about that missing piece. Not like they should all jump when I ask for something, but I don't think this is uncommon!

You could do it if you purchased Insight Designer, which I don't think is a terrible price point (maybe $2500 per year?) but I've certainly worked in organizations where even that was too much. And of course you could do it through the Power Platform but that is going to be more of an investment of resources (time and money).

Short answer is that with the out-of-the-box functionality, you will not be able to do this.
