Import email address to email tab in Bio 1

When I import new email addresses using Constituent Phone Import, the new email addresses get added to the telephone tab on Bio 1. How do I get them to be added to the email tab on Bio 1? There seems to be no way to map this.

Hi Margaret,

I had the same issue and this is what support told me to do and worked. Hope this helps.

For this you will need the following headers:

PhoneImpID, PhoneNum, PhoneType
PhoneImpID will stay blank for new phones/emails
PhoneNum will be the Email Address
PhoneType will be Email or how it is listed within the database
When mapping the fields in the import you will use Phones >

Phone Import ID,

Phones > Phone Number and Phones >

Phone Type
Phones will import with the type that is selected within Config. To ensure that the type being used is mapped correctly for an Email Address, to Config > Tables > Phone Types. Then you can open the specific table entry used in the import file, such as Email, and ensure the "Phone Number Type" is set to Email Address

If the PhoneType column that is in the CSV file is set to Email Address in Config, then this should import to the Email Address Tab.

To check that this is pirmary. in the primary column "Yes" or primary email address
