How do alumni parents and past parents access Tuition Management?

Our parents access Tuition Management to pay their bills via a link on the Parent Resource Board. However, when parents' roles change from parent to alumni parent or past parent, they lose access to the Resource Boards and the Tuition Management link. When they try to login through a direct link, often times the passwords do not match.

This actually happened to me this year. I am a platform manager and an Admin for our Blackbaud account. When my son graduated, I became an alumni parent. I no longer could click the link on the Resource Board to go directly to Tuition Management. When I tried to use the direct link, the system did not recognize my email address, telephone number, of family ID. I called tuition Mgt help, but they wanted to reset my password in Blackbaud. Because I am an admin, I didn't want to reset it because I was afraid of the ramifications throughout the system and my need to access all things Blackbaud. We hear reports all the time from former parents about how hard it is to access Tuition Management without the direct link from the Resource Board.

I voted on several ideas about giving access to the Resource Board to other roles, but that will take YEARS, if ever. Has your school found a work-around to get to the Tuition Management site without having to reset past parents' passwords? There has to be a better way!
