Tracking donor interest

Hi there, just curious to see how others are tracking donors' interests in Altru. We are a botanic garden with donors who have diverse areas of interest – could be art, education, sustainability, etc. – and are not currently tracking these interests in Altru. It would be wonderful to pull a report of all donors who have an interest in roses, for example. Any insight would be so helpful.

I suggest creating an Attribute Category “Interests” and then values for each interest. That way you can easily query to pull a list of constituents who are interested in value of “Art”, “Education”, etc.

@Somer SherwoodWhite Altru has a feature for tracking these kinds of things called Interests, and they live on the Constituent > Personal tab. Depending on your access, you should be able to customize the types available in the admin area by editing the code table values for Constituent Interest.
