Recurring event link expires every month

We have a link on our website to schedule birthday parties and every 30 days the Altru link changes and our website link stops working. I didn't set up the event in Altru but I'm told it's set up as a recurring event and this is just something no one has been able to solve.

Is there a way to have a link to sign up for birthday parties or other events like this that can be a permanent link that we don't have to manually update on our website every four weeks?

If you go into Web…Manage program forms, try copying the link on the main program rather than individual events. That link will always take you to the first active event. We use this in our “Buy Tickets” link for Museum admission on our website. Be sure to copy directly out of Altru… if you click the link and then copy from your browser, it won't be the correct one.

@Joe Ricci We access the link through the Event Registration Forms, not the Program Forms. I am using the main link on the event registration form, not the sub-events underneath. I'm not sure why it's under event registration vs. programs?

That's very strange, but maybe there's something different with pre-registered programs. We've had the same General Admission link on our website for years, but it's a scheduled program. I tested one of our pre-registered links and it seemed to work… it actually opened to the next event that wasn't sold out. I noted our link and I'll check it next month to see if it changed in Altru.
