Adding Events online and offline donations to Dashboards

Hello everyone,

We are trying to set new dashboards for our Fundraising team. One of the requirement is to include in the dashboards events as well as the total amount of our online and offline donations. Also we need to add event by Location and we are unable to add it to our dashboards. We have little information on Dashboards NXT even after taking the Led-Instructor training. Any insights would be much appreciated.

@Hanadi Ayoubi, could you please clarify, because in webview, they are not called “Dashboards” per se. Are you talking about getting things to display in “Fundraising-Reporting” or the “Report Builder” in webview?

@Faith Murray We are trying to create insights in report builder in NXT. Is it possible to add custom attributes in Insights in NXT?. We already have attributes existing in DBV and we need to pull it to show in NXT. Add on, we need to have information on one of our events participants.

@Hanadi Ayoubi currently you cannot add Event information to dashboards/reporting in web view. I am able to report on this somewhat because our events have their own funds and appeals. That is the only way I am able to do anything with events in web view, though.

As for custom attributes, I believe if you have the added Insight Designer you could pull in those but I could be wrong. We do not have that addition; I just use the standard report builder currently. You are able to pull attributes into Lists now, though. I know it's not a report but it might still get you what you need.

custom field (database view attribute) is a limitation on insight designer as well.
