"Committed but not paid" in webview
When I look at a record in webview, the cumulative total of a constituents' pledges is being shown as "committed but not paid" in the gift summary even if most or all pledges have $0 balance. It seems from the documentation/Help Center that this value is linked to the "Committed revenue" settings area, and I played around with which categories of gifts are included in that, but it didn't seem to make any difference. What am I doing wrong??

@Natanya Auerbach Are the pledges actually paid off, or were there any write-offs on them? When I look at that value, it generally gives me the balance of any pledges as well as any planned gifts. The payments need to be listed as a payment to move from “committed but not paid” to “received”. There's also a check box in the tools to reduce pledges that have been written off, but I don't know if it's checked by default.

@Dariel Dixon
These are all paid pledges, and the payments are pay-cash and are applied to the pledges. I do also have the “deduct write-offs” checked in the settings. I feel like this area in webview used to only show the pledge balances but somehow changed and I don't know why seeing as I'm the only one with the ability to change these settings at my org. Here is an example of what it looks like for me - this $13k pledge was paid off in one $13k payment and has a $0 balance.

I would go to support with this one I think. The default settings for committed and received revenue are usually pretty accurate, so I don't think there is a timing issue between you updating the settings and needing it to refresh in RE.The ONLY other thing I am thinking of - but also don't think it is the case due to your screen shot - is that the Pledge might be on one constituent's record and the Payment is on another constituent's record and being soft-credited? It feels like a stretch.
I'll be interested to hear what you find out!

@Karen Diener
Thanks! I was thinking this may be an actual bug, particularly since it seems to have changed without me doing anything, and modifying what is counted as “committed” makes no difference. None of these involve soft credits. Hopefully support can fix this!1
