Portfolio isn't showing deceased records

We will have a gift officer who was assigned to an individual who has passed away. As soon as the constituent is coded deceased they are removed from the portfolio. While I understand this from a technical perspective, these donors may have a will or a charitable trust that will continue to be managed by the gift officer. We don't want to create a new estate or trust record just to manage the giving that ultimately was directed by the previously assigned donor. Is there a way to keep these records in the portfolio? In database view they are still counted in the gift officer portfolio, but not in NXT which causes reporting discrepancies and forces me back to database view.

    @Deb Dressely In RE NXT in the Work Centers, make sure you have checked the column to appear of DECEASED and that the box is checked. Once you do that, deceased will appear in the RE NXT Portfolios in the Work Center.
