NXT Add In- Adaptive Card (close after entering info)

I have two flyout add ins in NXT on the Constituent Page. (adaptive cards) I've noticed that after users enter information into an Adaptive Card and click Submit, a message pops up that at least confirms that it's been sent. The problem is the flyout stays open until the click outside of the flyout.

I was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to close the flyout after the Response message appears or after they have submitted the form.

I'm asking because many people forget they sent it so they click it again and the person receives two emails or possibly something will get entered twice.

While I haven't use Adaptive Card, and would love to hear from others experience on this, I think this is not possible to close the fly out as it is not “control” by the adaptive card.

What you can try to do is to disable the submit button after it has been clicked once. If possible, change the button's text to “Submitted”. Although I don't know if that is possible with Adaptive Card. This is what I do using Glen's AIO, which allows me to use any custom JavaScript to manipulate the elements in the tile (or flyout).

@Carol Grant I'm having trouble navigating the new community and searching through posts that would answer your question from two years ago. I know you've figured out the answer to this since then… can you point me to where this has been resolved?

@Kevin Fletcher this is now completely resolved when Blackbaud introduced the new webrequest action feature.

I create the AIAC (All-Inclusive Adaptive Card) template utilizing this, so everything is more seamless and transition smoothly from initial input, submit, to final response message from submit.
