Academic Find Me Now view all students

Aloha,

Does anyone know which task enables View All Students to appear in the Academic Find Me Now pane? We are trying to use Find Me Now but when trying to locate Primary K-5 student we receive message, “We cannot find this person because they have no current obligations” (see attachment).

I cloned Attendance Manager role and remove tasks that we don't want everyone to have but I cannot figure out which task will allow users to see all students w/o giving user editing rights to student attendance or conduct (viewing OK). Any guidance greatly appreciated.

@Rachel Katsuda I just went through this exercise! I cloned Attendance Manager and turned everything off except these fields.

You will also want to make sure that you've granted the newly cloned role access via the Schedule Set.

@Rachel Katsuda I just realized I answered the wrong question. I was answering how to get the People Finder dropdown on the Academic tab for teachers. It doesn't answer how to get a listing of all students on the Find Me Now tab.

@Rachel Katsuda It might depend on how you schedule your Primary grades. Maybe the schedule set isn't viewable to the people looking, or the students are in a class that is scheduled for the time you are looking???
