Gift Management

The problem is, we don't have a fund called Fund ID3. We have 5 funds, but that's not one of them, so there's no way to remove the end date or extend it further. We've also tried editing batch gifts and then changing the fund to one of our 5 actual funds within the gift screen to the left, but it never accepts our change. A lot of our gifts are processing correctly, but there's a growing list of gifts that somehow have gotten tied to this non-existent Fund ID3, so we're unable to process them. Any ideas would be appreciated!

    what fund is displayed when you to here?

    it may be referencing the fund system id of 3, instead of the “Fund ID” (user definable ID) of 3.

FYI, in the meantime, we've just discovered that one of our 5 funds (the fund that these gifts were intended for) had somehow gotten an end date added to it. It's not Fund ID3, because we don't have a fund called that, but it was definitely was one of our actual funds. We just went in and deleted that end date, but so far we still can't process any of those problems from the validation list, but we're wondering it maybe it has to process overnight…

  • @Alex Wong, yes that is the fund we're talking about. It's called C4, and it's the one that is tied to all the validation problems (every time since December 7, when someone has to tried to donate to C4, it goes into the problem list). And C4 is the fund that we just discovered had somehow gotten a December 6 end date added to it. So it definitely seems like that is related to the problem, but even after we removed the end date, it's still not processing…but that's where we're wondering if maybe something has to happen overnight and it will be okay tomorrow…
