Anyone figure out a way to get the new assignment center to be the default landing page instead of the old assignment center? Only option I see under defaults is assignment center.

    Hi @Jeffrey Harrison -

    The way to default a landing page for users is via Core > Users > User Profile Settings > Starting page.

    Right now, when Assignment Center is selected here, the old Assignment Center is what is used as the default landing page.

    We have work scheduled to swap this default to the new Assignment Center instead. That work is on the immediate roadmap and should be made available sometime in the next 1-2 months. For now, if a student wishes to use the new Assignment Center, they'll need to select it from their My Day menu.

    @Michael Morrissette as of today our students see the same view whether they access Assignment Center through My Day or from the top menu bar. Is this correct? Do they have access to view the old assignment center if they'd like to?

    Hi @Grace Rios - The new Assignment Center is currently in an opt-in period. So, if you would like to activate it for your school, that can be done from Core > Settings > Activate new features. On that page, there should be a link to a webinar explaining all of the new functions included in the new experience and what to expect when it's activated. If you have any feedback about the new feature, feel free to reach out to me!

    You can also deactivate the feature after it's been turned on. So, if you want to play around with the experience during off-peak times and then deactivate it, that is also possible.
