"Undefined" fields on Enrollment Contracts

We just posted enrollment contracts. All of the contracts returned “undefined” fields where all text fields show. See example (I blurred out person information). Any text that you see is info that Blackbaud provides (or family has filled in). Any text field we created comes back as “undefined”. I have 6 different contracts and this is true for each. Thoughts?

Hi @Christopher Brons - that is due to having text block elements on the contract that do not have any text inside of them.

@Bryan Lorenzo That would make sense except each text field had text. I am going to try to redo it and see what happens.

@Christopher Brons I'm checking to see if anyone else may have inadvertently deleted text in the contract we're working on- we may have had a similar issue.

I was doing some updates today and noticed we had a few text fields that were just empty in the Contract Form and then of course in the preview.

Are you saying that your contract was previewing fine, you generated and disseminated them, and then now both in the Contract Form AND the individual generated contracts the text is missing, making it show up as “undefined” in the generated contracts?

Or can you still see the text in the Contract Form but it's missing in the generated contracts?

Wishing you luck and hoping you were able to get a solve on this- I'm sure it was/is a big source of extra stress you didn't need this time of year.

@Christopher Brons very interesting! I am working on contracts and thought they were ready to go and the policy block and another text block disappeared in one of them. what's going on?

Hi @Coco Parham & @Ash Smelkinson if text it randomly being deleted from the contract I would encourage you to open a case with support so that it can be investigated as that should not be happening.

I will. Just saw it yesterday and fixed it, so there is nothing for them to see.
