Hi everyone! Has anyone recently noticed that they are not able to upload attachments in “attach files" in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT? Thanks so any help!
@Sarah Kear Are you encountering any error or exception messages when you try or do you just not see that area in webview?
@Christine Robertson I cna upload an attachment but it does not load the attachment to publish it. It only shows the green circles.
@Sarah Kear Just to confirm - do you know if your security settings and rights have been checked to be sure that you have access to attachments?To check, in webview go to Control Panel and Roles, then to Fundraising roles. Look to see if Attachments are included for the Fundraising Role that is assigned to your user account.
@Sarah Kear Just to let you know, if you upload attachments in the media tab in RE NXT, it does not carry over to the Datbase View. If you upload in Database View, it will carry over in RE NXT. Another Blackbaud SNAFU.
@Sarah Kear Been having the same issue for days. Went onto Blackbaud chat yesterday and they confirmed that it is an known issue that they are working on.
@Christine Robertson I am trying to add a supporting document to a journal entry but it does not let me select a file type so I cannot attach it.
@Juan Pacheco If you're working with a journal entry, are you in RE or FE?

@Juan Pachecoare you trying to add attachment to Journal Entry batch or supporting document to the specific journal entry lines?
If former, I have no problem attaching:
if latter, i don't think you can.

@Christine RobertsonI was able to build a table on database view that allowed me to select the type of file to download.
