Recurring Gifts Transactions Paid via Merchant Services

We had a director that mapped items differently and now we have several batches that will not post. It seems to be recurring charges that processed via the merchant service account. We remove the campaign and appeal information and charge to a fund, but the batches still will not post. We can't find the mapping to identify the issue. Created a case (no response) and have been on hold for over 30 minutes. Any guidance is appreciated.

Can you provide more information on your posting process? Do you process in NXT or database view – or are these gifts entered manually in Merchant Services' Virtual Terminal and then batched?

If you are batching in database view, has the batch been validated and committed, and have the EFT transmission files been generated to actually process in BBMS? Are the gifts showing up as processed in your Merchant Account portal?

I'm having to read between the lines a little bit. It sounds like the gift has already been added to RE and you are trying to post it? If that is not the case, we'll all need more information to help!

GL mapping is done via the Fund record, so removing the Campaign and Appeal (which I would NOT advise) won't solve the problem. This knowledgebase article has some basic steps on how to map the GL. Maybe it will get you pointed in the right direction:

@Lori Williams Check to see what Campaigns are associated with the Fund? You may HAVE to select a Campaign in order to save the gift depending on your required fields (I think). And it has to be an active Campaign to go with the Fund.
