Award Certificate

We want to eliminate printing out award certificates for example dean's list and sending out to parents. We would like to send them electronically and have parents print themselves. We have such a long list. Has anyone have an idea on how I could do that on blackbaud. I see that I can record the award but it doesn't give me the option to attach a certificate to a student's file so the parents can get the attachment. Anyway thoughts would be helpful.
