Web View Query

The What's Next article says that Query Lists will not be moved to web view. That would be a great loss. We use Query Lists constantly to fine-tune prospect lists and to build the universe for a segmented mailing. We use multiple queries to load a Query List, then other queries to remove and suppress based on various criteria.

@David Larson I think that's because much of the functionality of the Query List in database view is part of Lists in webview. You can add and remove there in bulk just like you can in Query List.

@David Larson They are still A LONG WAY OFF from getting queries into RE NXT, so may be by that time, that will be an option. But with how slow it has been buidling out RE NXT, I do not see query becoming a reality in NXT for a really log time.

I absolutely agree. List Query in Database View is the most simple, efficient and accurate way to pull complex and lengthy lists of data (Direct Mail Appeals, Gala Invites, Assigned Solicitor Portfolios, etc.) Trying to add to much to one query leads to errors, computer freezes, and crossed-eyes, and in my experience NXT Lists and Merge Queries are just not the same. I really hope Blackbaud keeps List Queries. jeffrey.minkin@neighbor.org

Unfortunately, List in NXT just does not have the functionality to do what Query List in Database View does in terms of sophisticated data pulls.
