How do you utilize Raiser's Edge and other software to host fundraising events?

What 3rd Party software can be used with Raiser's Edge/NXT to host fundraising events? (e.g. tickets, silent auction etc.)

@Mayah Blakely - Welcome to BB Community Forums! You can use pretty much any third-party event software you would like, the tricky part comes when you want to move data back-and-forth between the event software and RE NXT. For this most people either utilize Import or an Import tool like Importacular or ImportOmatic.

we use Online Express for ticket sales and for seated event, RE database view's seating module to do seating.

then we have a custom build app that does day-of management (checking in guest, movement of table seating info, guest changes, etc), and since it is custom build, it has RE constituent id and participant import id information that can then be used to update RE post event.

Like Austen said, if you are using any 3rd party that isn't build to integrate with RE to begin with, then you have to deal with how the information will add/delete/update into RE using ETL tool like ImportOMatic

We use OneCause for silent auction, tickets and donations and ImportOmatic to get the data into RE
