Best way to create a student (or family) retention report that covers multiple years?

Hello,

I want to know in what year what families started with our school starting 3 years ago when we began using Blackbaud. I need to be able to determine student retention during those years.

I don't see a report and, I imagine, that a custom report could be created Advanced Lists but I'm unclear what fields I should be looking for. We also use Tuition Management System so should I be looking there?

@Sharie Sprague One way you can do this is look for enroll date and departure date. The catch is that those two things are often in two different year records. Some screenshots from an advanced list to help.
