Registration Forms adding new emails to records

HI is there a way to stop emails that are entered in event registrations forms from automactically being loaded as primay on a constituent record.

@Beth UnruhArnold - Unfortunately, as it currently works - no. If/when the new feature for manual constituent review is released, you'll be to decide what information is brought in.

THanks Austen I was afraid of that. I have trustees that have their administrative assistants register for them and add their own emails to the form so the assistants email is being added as primary to our trusteee and that is not good. Have you ran into that issue

@Beth UnruhArnold - This is will be an area that you'll need to keep an eye on. Make it apart of your process that when new registrations are received you're also reviewing the contact information for the linked constituent.

can I ask what process you use do you pull some sort of query you using to find recrods updated by registration forms?

@Beth UnruhArnold - I go off of the notification emails. Either once a day or as they come in, compare the data entered into the form against the constituent in RE. Instances where an assistant is put in their own email instead of the constituent's, you can then go into the constituent's record and remove the errant email.

just found in nxt tools under settings you can at least change email types from Primary to Alternate created through forms so at least it does not change emails I have specific instructions for to not change from primary.

@Beth UnruhArnold I like to set up webview to add new emails with the type of WebView Email. I also set new constituent records to be added with a code of WebView Constituent. It makes it easy to do a daily query to review and globally change the types if needed. You can also run a query of records "added by WebView" as the user for review
