Can Learning Profile Forms Be Duplicated/Copied?

It seems once a Learning profile form has been attached to a student, the master can no longer be edited. Is that correct?

If my Learning Support team decides the master form needs edited, it looks like the only option is to create a new form entirely from scratch. Is there a way to duplicate or copy the existing form to create a new version?

A learning profile can be edited by going to approve learning profiles. Change status to all and adjust the dates. Click on review to the right of the one you want to edit.

I believe it only saves one date and I can't remember if it's the original date it was created or the new date it's saved. But if you track that kind of info, you may want to add fields like “original date of LP” and “LP updated on [date]."

It's not the greatest workflow, but it allows for editing without having to disable the first one and create a new one.

Thank you, Veronica. This is good to know.

Do you know if it is possible to edit the template, the original doc, or copy/duplicate it?

Unfortunately you aren't able to do either. Once a template is in use, it cannot be edited.

I found an old (from 2015?) idea in the portal if you want to vote for it:
