Upcoming Blackbaud ID Impact on SSO

I have reviewed this documentation, and I am just looking for some clarification/verification.

If we have utilized Blackbaud Authentication (Core > Security > Authentication Settings > SSO Settings (tab)) to configure authentication via Blackbaud into our application (Finalsite), will there be any impact from the upcoming changes described in that article?

I am leaning towards “no” at this point, and it seems like the SSO mentioned in that article is specific to clients using an external Identity Provider (e.g. Google) to log into Blackbaud. However, with > 100 of our mutual clients using the option I described above, I wanted to do my diligence in terms of ensuring that no action is required on our (or our clients') part.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

@Dan Bonville @Dan Bonville Blackbaud ID does not currently serve as the identity provider for your users; we accept the user's identity from their email account (which is often Google or Microsoft). When the user moves from Education Management to another site, like Finalsite, the email account is still serving as the identity of that user. The Blackbaud ID enhancements do not impact authentication to third-party tools or solutions.
