What to do when with an option when 'Participant Options' is full?

We have a form for upcoming focus groups, and people can select one of 3 nights. One of our nights is now full. I'm afraid if I delete it as an option, I will also lose the data.

So the best I can do is to change the name to ‘FULL’. Other suggestions?

@Zachary Baehr Can you mark that table entry as “inactive”?

Not a single person I work with is using the event functionality in webview so I honestly don't know for sure if that will work. But it is my first instinct. The value would continue to exist on everyone's record who selected it, but would not be visible in a drop-down table.

Participant Option is not like Participant Attribute in database view using Online Express where inactive entry will no longer show.

Unfortunately there's no way to do this, as Participant Option doesn't have a “inactive” ability. You will have to think about the Participant Option carefully and add to your form in ways that allow you to just get rid of the question when “full”

@Zachary Baehr - Similar to Alex's suggestion, in these instances I've created a new Participant Option for the form that contains only the options available. It is not a clean solution by any means and creates more work for the DBA on the back-end, but it provides the front end user with a clearer picture on what's currently available.
