Scheduled Maintenance during business hours for Asia Pacific
This week's maintenance was scheduled for Saturday/Sunday for all geo locations.
When it was rescheduled, it is now scheduled for between 3pm and 7pm Australian Eastern Standard Time today (Tuesday 21st May 2024).
Obviously, these are business hours for Australian clients and for other clients in Asia Pacific.
May is the start of many charities Tax appeal in Australia, leading up to the end of the financial year on 30th June. We, and many others, will have their tax appeals running this week and are faced with losing donations due to this rescheduled maintenance.
It does not seem fair that Asia Pacific always gets the raw deal when the maintenance is scheduled during the business week.
Can Blackbaud please investigate a better way to support ALL clients during the scheduled maintenance windows and look into splitting the task by geo location so clients and their supporters are not disrupted?
