Event Pledge Fulfillment Reminders

Hi everyone,

We recently had a gala event where we had a paddle raise portion of the evening, and it was VERY successful. I have entered the paddle raises into NXT as pledges, and plan on reaching out to the donors to provide them links and ways to fulfill their pledges.

Here's the issue, currently, the donation form builder from NXT, nor does the donor portal have a way to make a payment on an existing pledge, unless they initiate the pledge themselves. So how can I send an email whether through NXT, Online Express in DB view, or via my company email that will link them to a donation form or portal that shows their pledge amount and allow them to setup a schedule for payment or to make a one-time payment in full?

Any thoughts or ideas?

There is no “build-in” functionalities on any Blackbaud donation platform that will do what you want seemlessly, not RENXT donation form, not Optimized Donation form, not Online Express, not BBNC, not Luminate Online, etc.

So to do what you want, it will be a very custom build, and none of the aforementioned donation platform allows for this level of customization, exception Luminate Online.

So if you do have LO, I can paint you a blueprint to think about.

@Alex Wong, I don't have LO. I was afraid of all of that. I know it does no good to complain here, but it is extremely frustrating that the “Cadillac of CRM's” does not have this kind of thing baked in.

Manual processing it is. And yes, I have upvoted these suggestions in the idea center. And it looks like some of these requested functions may be coming in future (hopefully soon) rollouts. We'll see.
