NXT Reports - Active Filter

Am I missing something? I am still seeing a list of all funds active/inactive in my fund selection criteria when I have Active=True selected and False not selected. What is the purpose of the "Active" criteria selection?

    @Kelly CampionSocol - Can you describe where you are within Web View?

  • @Austen Brown Sorry I have been out of the office for a few days. I am in NXT - Fundraising - Reporting - Funds. Then trying to filter for specific funds using the Funds description pull down table I only want to see the active funds. I have set the "Active" filter to true. I am still seeing all funds in my funds description pull down table. I understand why we see all of the inactive funds as they exist on records, but I thought selecting “true” under the active filter would allow me to see only those current active funds, or basically any selection criteria that is active.

    We have used RE for over a decade and have quite a few inactive funds. We recently migrated to NXT and would love to be able to only have active item available for search criteria.

    @Kelly CampionSocol
    Getting same behavior as you. Meaning, the drop down selection is pre-loaded and not affected by other dropdown selection.

  • @Kelly CampionSocol to get around that we added "Z" to the front of Fund Id/description fields so at least the active funds sort to the top of our drop down list. It's a fairly quick fix if you export the fund records then import them back using Admin > Import in re7

  • @Spring Velazquez thank you. I was hoping not to do that, but that is what I am now planning to do

  • @Kelly CampionSocol if you can export it (which I did) I think just concatenated the Z- to the front of all of the fund ID and Name fields. I also took it as the an opportunity to clean up all of the other garbage, missing info in the file (made my little OCD DBA heart happy too) ?
