Has anyone set up a system to use the new Acknolwedgement letters in NXT yet?

Yes. When I started with that it looked like it might be able to be used with just default body also. So I was wondering if anyone has tried to set up different receipt types.

Still looking for a way to keep receipts contained with in RE, without exporting files, etc.

@Jane Van Ingen - What I know about it, is only what I gleaned from experimenting with it. If you have a test record or a record of your own you can experiment, I recommend trying it out. It's not perfect by any means but it's interesting to take a look at and see what may work for your org.

@Austen Brown @Candy Reichert @Jane Van Ingen I've been playing with it, and it seems to be a very handy tool. You can set various message templates. Only downside is that it only sends to emails. Which in most cases would probably be ok, unless you have that donor who really needs a tactile acknowledgement.

I plan on using this for most of my gift acknowledgements. But the problem I run into, and I am trying to find out if there is a way to change, is that ALL of my gifts are showing up in the “wizard” tool. There are some gifts I don't want to send acknowledgements too (Employee gifts, etc.) I can't find if there is a way to exclude them from the tool. I tried marking all of the employee gifts as “Do Not Acknowledge” but they aren't getting kicked out. I'll see if the next round of gifts show up there.

The documentation on this feature is pretty sparse.

@Patrick Flynn Hi Patrick! Wondering if you found a way to exclude/delete persons from gift acknowledgments I am new to my position and it has not been done in a while. I need to purge donors from it. How do I remove them from the list? I do not see the option to delete them.

@Candy Reichert I just discovered this feature and was having trouble with setting it up. I contacted support and they sent me this helpful tutorial. Hope it helps.
