Major Giving Plan vs. Stewardship Plan for Donors

Hi everyone!

I serve as an MGO and am helping us use more of the functionality of Blackbaud CRM as we grow. My question for the community was whether there was any published guidance from Blackbaud, or perhaps from another 3rd party that gives recs. on how to get the most out of Blackbaud from a user perspective, on when it is appropriate to use a Major Giving Plan vs. a Stewardship Plan for your major donors?

The tab I'm referring to is accessible by this path: prospect → plans.

Do you use one type only at your org to simplify processes? Very curious to hear thoughts on how you do this in-house as we build-out and formalize our stewardship approach!
