Transcript Multiple Grade Plans Groups on same column

Aloha K-12 Community,

This is our first year using BB Transcripts on top of this our deans decided to change from number to letter grades for one course for the 2023-2024 school year. I reached out to support and they provided me with link to Article 12392 that states the Grade Plan and Grade Plan Grade need to be the same. I updated the existing Grade Plan and Grade Plan Grade to the same names, but still appears on two separate columns on transcript. FYI - I have reached out to support multiple times and haven't received a solution, hoping the community can assist me.

Below is recap of what I have done, just not sure what I did wrong:

1. Created new course and sections for Theory of Knowledge (TOK) with letter grades
   • 8002 - DP1 Theory of Knowledge
   • 8012 - DP2 Theory of Knowledge
2. Followed instructions: https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/articles/Article/121392
3. Ensured unique Grade Plan Group names. Academics> Grades> Grading setup> Grade Plan Groups > DP Term Grade TOKLtr and DP Term Grade
4. Changed Grade Plan to the same name. Academics> Grades> Grading setup> Grade Plans > Semester 1 and Grade Plans > Semester 2
5. Changed Grade Plan Grades to the same name: Academics> Grades> Grading setup> Grade plan grades > Semester
6. School Year Setup ensured plan descriptions were updated: Academics> Grades> Grading setup> School year setup > Plan Description > Semester 1 and Plan Description > Semester 2
7. Existing transcript (HS Transcript - GPA) the TOK letter grade does not appear
8. Created test transcript (TEST HS Transcript - GPA Abbrev TOKLtr ) that has separate column for TOK letter grades for each semester. I was hoping after the changes above the letter grade would appear in both columns but the number grades appear in one column and the letter grade appears in different column.

Any response would be much appreciated. I am hoping it's something simple and just a misunderstanding on my end.

@Kristen Duval Thank you for your help with resolving this issue, walking me thru it and the explanation. To many similar names Grade Plan, Grade Plan Groups and Grade Plan grades. Cleaning up Grade Plans to remove duplicate and renaming Grade Plan Grades and realigning the transcripts. Not all heros wear capes, so true and for everyone in the Community.
