Access adjustment for adding attachments

Hi, again :)

My co-worker can’t save an attachment within an action, the save button is greyed out for her.

Create action, add attachment, drag and drop attachment, re-name attachment name – No issues there.

SAVE isn’t available.

I assume this is a permission that needs to be adjusted, please could someone point me in the direction for this?

Thanks

@Tasha Mikoz I think this would be under Fundraising roles. Action attachments aren't specifically called out there, but that is where other attachment roles are configured.

In webview, go to Control Panel, then Security. Click on Security Roles and then find the Fundraising Roles tile. My guess is that you would need to adjust the “Manage all attachments” permission to include “View” and “Add/Edit”.

    Please confirm if that works!

  • @Karen Diener thanks for the info, this has worked!

Another one you might be able to help with.

I also need the employee to be able to drag and drop an attachment within a Action.

They do have View/add/edit rights to a Consituents actions, that's how I read the below, yet they can't save the action once a attachment has been dropped in.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.
