Textmunication - Texting App Reviews

Hi Everyone

We are considering using Texmunications - a texting app which helps fundraise and increase engagement. They have an API which integrates with RE NXT which is a plus.

Would appreciate any reviews.

we used Textmunication before and with the exact same reason: they have an API.

But I want to make sure it's clear, Textmunication has an API for their platform, it is NOT an API that integrates with RE NXT. (i.e. Textmunication has API to send a text message to a number)

You can code an app or integration yourselves using SKY API and SKY Addin to add an ability to send text message by creating a custom tile on the constituent record, then fundraiser can type a message, hit send and utilize the Textmunication API to do the sending by providing the phone number to text and message to text. In the same app, you can then log the text action as an action to the constituent record in RE NXT.

@Garth George I remember my former org used Textmunication when I was there as I understood it to integrate with NXT. As Alex stated, though, there is no integration. We had to do imports to pull data from their system back to NXT and it was a pain. If you're skilled in the ways of Power BI and all that then go for it. I am not so hopefully Alex can help you along there. So far I have not found something able to text that directly integrates with NXT but now that I'm in a different position that is not on my plate to handle.
