My Fundaiser page and historical plans

Hello All,

We are reviewing my fundraiser page and do not know why there is not option across this module to exclude historical plans, so I wonder how everyone is managing historical plans since they are included in all the tabs including my fundraising summaries which then does not portrait a current status of all plans associated to fundraisers and their workload, if they are not removed from the historical plans, which is not ideal either.

I am interesting to know how other institutions are managing this .

    Hi Karen. If you are on the prospects and plans tab, both the assignments and plans sections have a check box for including historical plans. There may be a permission that needs to be set so it can be seen. If you are not on that tab, which tab are you on?

    Hi Chris,

    If you look under the Fundraiser Tab , you will find some tabs related to prospect management for the fundraiser, These are the same tabs we have under my fundraiser page. ( path: Prospect Functional Page - Prospect Management - My Fundraiser Page).

    The issue is that most of these tabs do not give you the option to include or not the historical plans so if you are a primary manager of a historical plan, the plan will be included in your stat which is causing issues because we want to be able to track stat related to current plans only in most cases.

    For example if you look at the ‘prospect summary’ tab for the fundraiser , the stat is including all plans (current and historical) and does not allow you to select current only to see the fundraiser current workload so because of this , this summary is not really useful.

  • @Karen MacNeil When we used those tabs at my last employer, we found that issue, as well as some others and ended up generating our own reports.

    We just went live with CRM earlier this month, and this question came up from our team as well. Fortunately, we are still working with our business analyst on the conversion and he was able to add Historical as a filter. I am not an expert so unfortunately can't provide specific instructions, but the edits were made to the data list. If you have anyone on your team who knows how to make those changes, it is possible!

    Do you have a hosted environment or on premises? .

    Did the business analyst made changes in the summaries as well? ie. Fundraising summaries.

    We are hosted by Blackbaud. The updates were only to the data list, not on summaries. Thanks!
