Adding a gif file to the newsletter library

A while ago I managed to upload an animated gif to use in my newletter. It took a lot of trial and error to make it work but after making it under 1mb it appeared to work. I'm trying to do it again and the file size is just 800kb but it keeps giving me an error. The error doesn't explain the problem, it is just a red - beside “image name”. No further explanation.

Can anyone help tell me why it won't upload?

when you say “use in my newletter” you mean you are using an gif image in an email, and you are using RE NXT Marketing > Email?

Yes sorry, I'm using the Marketing, Email function and I'd like to add an animated gif. I have done it before but this one simply won't upload.

I get this which is meaningless. I know it is possible because I have done it in a previous marketing email. I just don't understand why it doesn't say what the issue is. Incredibly frustrating.

The easy thing to do is to ask support what is the problem. It is not easy to get good support though.

You can also try to use the Browser's Developer Inspection tool, which will likely have more info as to why there is an error.
