NXT Thank you letter vs receipt, has duplicate info?

Hi - we are just starting with NXT after Online Express and are confused why the instant Thank You letter and the receipt have the same information…except the receipt is sent days later (or when we are able to process to BBMS).

I thought I turned off the receipt option on the Edit Form but I just got one yesterday from my test donation made on July 19th.

Can we turn off the receipt and how? We include all transaction history on the instant TY and prefer that way since our 30+ year donors are familiar with it.

@Stacy Schafer Are the gifts being included in the Gift Receipting option (under Gift Management in web view)? That could be resolved by changing the criteria in the Gift List being linked to the Receipting process.

@Christine Robertson hi, the only place I see the chance to check the receipt box is in the Edit Form on the Standard Form set-up. I couldn't find anything under Gift Management. In the Database view - the Receipt under the Mail, is not active. Am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks!

@Stacy Schafer If you're not using the Gift Receipt function under Gift Management, then that's not it. I'm not aware of a separate receipt option on the forms. Is it perhaps set up in your BBMS account?
